In the past year, property development partner SQM has doubled hiring after strong revenue growth. Now the company has hired three new talents.
“It's a hard battle for the best heads a day, and it's absolutely crucial for us to bring in the right expertise and experience. We have been selective in the process and we are very pleased with our new grants,” says General Manager Jan Kjeran Kolsrud.
SQM has now hired Oddvar Hjellegjerde, Ørjan Ringstad Kristiansen and Øyvind hagen for its organization.
Oddvar Hjellegjerde comes from Cushman and Wakefield Realkapitaler, where he has worked as an analyst for 2 years. “With experience from the brokerage side of commercial real estate and with almost three different master's degrees in both finance, business economics and real estate development, Oddvar brings with him a solid and unique interdisciplinary expertise. Oddvar will be a great contribution in the SQM team with its analytical capabilities and financial approach,” SQM writes about the hiring in a notice.
Ørjan Ringstad Kristiansen has a background as an operations and engineering manager from AF Gruppen. Ørjan has worked with uncertainty analyses in Atkins Norway and as a project manager in Cowi. “This background has given Ørjan valuable insight into most phases of a construction project, and brings with it experience, among other things, from the construction of the new National Museum. Ørjan has a background as a construction engineer and a master's degree in project management from NTNU”, writes SQM.
Øyvind Hagen comes from AF Gruppen where he was a project manager and has previously worked as a RIB in Multiconsult. “This has given him solid experience from complex projects where good interdisciplinary interaction and targeted project management have yielded good results. Øyvind holds a master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from NTNU”.
SQM is a development partner with expertise in the nutrition segment. They assume overall responsibility for major development projects, from early stage, to implementation and sale. They can show several successful project collaborations with larger clients such as Entra, Arctic, Pareto and Brødre Jensen.
“We believe that the success factor for our growth has been that we provide the customer with a total package that few others can offer, and that we create trust in the customer by investing in the projects,” says Kolsrud.
