EG is a market-leading provider of Nordic industry software for private and public clients. In recent years, EG has experienced significant growth through several acquisitions and is looking to strengthen the team with a business-oriented, strategic, and forward-thinking Director HR Business Partnering for the Construction and Property division.
As the Director HR Business Partnering, you will play a key role and be a central contributor to the company's change initiatives, employee and organizational development, as well as the advancement of the company's strategy and HR processes. You will serve as the HR Country lead for Norway and Iceland and lead the Construction and Property division from an HR perspective.
The role reports to Head of HR and will be part of the management team in the division. You will work closely with HR leaders in other countries, ensuring that strategic initiatives and processes are effectively implemented. As the Director HR Business Partnering, you will have personnel responsibility for three HR resources and the role will be located in Oslo.
Overall Responsibilities:
Promote and implement the HR agenda by ensuring right leadership, talent, diversity, culture and engagement
Support business objectives and strategic transitions by working closely together with the management team
Cascading corporate HR Strategy
Ensure country specific review of cross-organizational HR processes by having deep knowledge about local culture and legislation and support local implementation
Drive the M&A agenda from an HR perspective
Desired Capabilities and Qualifications
Relevant education preferably at a master's level
Solid leadership experience with a focus on organizational development and creating engagement in remote teams
Demonstrated change management experience
Able to break down silos and collaborate across the organization
Experience in translating strategy into goals and operational plans, in a global organization
Coaching and advisory skills – solid experience about local labor law in Norway incl. negotiating skills
Business mindset and understanding
Make decisions based on data and see pragmatic ways to implement global projects
Strong communicator verbally and in writing in English
