Do you want to take on one of the key leadership roles in SATS Sweden and drive the performance and development of our gym operations across the country?
On behalf of SATS, we are looking for a strong and business-driven Head of Operations with overall responsibility for the operations of our gyms in Sweden. Leading the organization through our Regional Managers, you will have a significant impact on our business results, member experience and ability to deliver profitable growth.
In this key leadership role, you will drive strong and sustainable results through leadership, Operational Excellence and consistent execution. You will also play a central role in bringing the SATS vision of making people healthier and happier to life – through our people, our training offering and an inspiring member experience that makes people want to train and keep training.
As a key member of the Swedish Country Management Team, reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will contribute to the overall direction, performance and development of SATS Sweden. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Group Training, Personal Training and Nordic functions to ensure shared priorities and strong execution across the business.
Your responsibilities include:
- Taking overall responsibility for the operations of our gyms in Sweden, with a clear focus on profitable growth, membership base, member satisfaction, productivity and cost efficiency
- Leading the operational organization through Regional Managers and building strong, independent leaders with clear accountability for people, operations and results
- Driving Operational Excellence across all gyms, ensuring high-quality and consistent execution, effective resource utilization and continuous improvement
- Creating a strong and consistent member experience through our people, training offering, service and daily operational delivery
- Using data, KPIs and member insights to set priorities, identify opportunities and drive measurable results
- Developing the organization, leadership and culture needed to deliver strong and sustainable performance over time
- Leading major change and implementation initiatives, including the Nordic operational model, and ensuring that new ways of working create real impact across the Swedish organization
We believe you:
- Have extensive experience leading operations across multiple locations and leading through other leaders, preferably within retail, service, hospitality, fitness/wellness or another consumer-facing business
- Have a strong track record of driving operational performance, profitable growth and Operational Excellence through leadership and execution
- Have successfully led organizational change, implementation and continuous improvement across a complex organization
- Are highly business-oriented and comfortable using data, KPIs and customer insights to identify opportunities, set priorities and drive measurable results
- Have a strong customer and service mindset and understand how operational execution, people and culture contribute to an outstanding member experience
- Are a confident and trusted senior leader who creates clarity, engagement and accountability while developing both people and performance
- Combine strategic and analytical capability with a hands-on and action-oriented approach
- Build strong relationships and collaboration across functions and organizational levels, while maintaining clear direction and high expectations
- Thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment with many stakeholders and high ambitions
- Have a good understanding of Swedish labor law, employer responsibilities and employee relations
