Hurtigruten is experiencing strong growth and will strengthen the Group Accounting department with a highly skilled and motivated Group Financial Controller.
You will be a part of a team of two Group Financial Controllers located in Oslo and will be responsible for maintaining group accounting principles (IFRS). In addition, you will be contributing in monthly consolidation and reporting, developing the Groups’ consolidation system (HFM) and maintain and improve the financial reporting processes. The position reports to VP Accounting and is positioned in Oslo.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Work closely with VP Accounting on group IFRS issues to ensure compliance with accounting principles.

  • Contribute to streamlining and increasing efficiency in the Groups’ financial reporting processes, both subsidiary reporting and financial reporting to Management and BoD.

  • Participate in the periodic consolidation of financial accounts, budgets and forecasts.

  • Work actively with improving the Groups’ accounting, consolidation and reporting systems.

  • Participate in development projects in the accounting department, hereunder implementing a new ERP system.

  • Be responsible for producing the quarterly and annual financial statements.

Required qualifications:

  • Masters’ degree within Finance and/or Accounting, preferably MRR.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS regulation.

  • Professional experience from auditing, and excellent consolidation skills.

  • Operational experience from international companies would be an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of HFM or similar consolidation system.

  • Proficient in English.

  • Generally good IT-skills, particularly Excel/MS Office.
