Are you looking to challenge yourself in a unique position at Danske Bank, working closely with and reporting directly to the Country Manager and Head of Banking Norway?
Danske Bank is a challenger in the Norwegian market. We are on a growth journey and wish to take a stronger position by integrating closer to our customers, colleagues and society at large. We are looking for an analytical and business-oriented executive to the newly established position as Chief Operating Officer (COO) Banking Norway. The COO function shall secure the functionality and efficiency of the business to further drive sustainable growth in the Norwegian marketplace.
This is a position with high interaction and exposure across the bank in Norway, providing you a unique opportunity to explore the full scope of a Nordic universal bank and market area Norway from a senior management perspective.
As COO Banking Norway your responsibilities will amongst others include strategic and operational cross business unit projects in the Norwegian and Nordic organizations, on behalf of the Country Manager / Head of Banking. Additionally, internal and external presentations and speeches will be a part of role. The position will formally be a part of the Banking Norway management team.
Desired personal skills and qualifications
We are looking for a self-driven and proactive team player with proven leadership skills. The right candidate has solid and relevant banking experience, high integrity, and the ability to challenge and explore the future potential for the banking segment. Experience with stakeholder and project management are advantages. Solid oral and written communication skills in one of the Scandinavian languages as well as in English is required.
