Do you want to lead the new One Orkla Amazon team?

Marketplaces like Amazon are growing rapidly and will most likely become an important sales channel for Orkla in the future. In this new and exciting role, we are looking for an analytical, goal-oriented and highly entrepreneurial candidate to drive Orkla’s growth on Amazon while at the same time building capabilities that will be crucial for Orkla in order to succeed on marketplaces going forward.

Orkla is looking for a successful and driven Amazon Manager to become part of a new One Orkla Amazon team. Your main goal will be to build a successful Amazon business for Orkla, which entails identifying growth opportunities, defining portfolio strategies together with Orkla International Sales (OIS) and the different sales and marketing organizations across Orkla, and continuously improving availability, visibility and conversion of the products you decide to list. This is a role in which you will be competing against best-in-class Amazon Account Managers from Branded Consumer Goods suppliers across the world to win the Buy Box. In addition to growing Orkla’s brands on Amazon internationally, you will play an integral part in building the key capabilities required for Orkla to succeed on marketplaces in the future and your role will therefore be vital in supporting Orkla to deliver on its 2025 strategy.

As this is a newly established role, we believe that the right candidate can come from a variety of backgrounds. You may for example have:

  • A background from top tier consulting, with project experience within marketing and sales

  • Experience with successfully launching products on Amazon or other marketplaces

  • Strategic digital marketing experience with a strong business acumen

Regardless of your background, you should have the following capabilities:

  • Strong analytical abilities and high proficiency in excel

  • Energetic and positive with a can-do attitude

  • Curious and eager to learn
