We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Group Controller to strengthen our group finance team. As a Group Controller in Frøy you will become part of a dedicated team of professionals. The finance team is in charge of a wide specter of responsibilities, including group financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, controlling, treasury and tax. The positions reports to Finance director, and will work closely with the rest of the finance team, our operational and executive management. Frøy is on an exiting journey of development, and the position implies the opportunity for personal and professional development, together with the opportunity to make a significant impact in developing the Group finance function.
The position is located in Trondheim, at Frøy headquarters.
Key responsibilities:
Group financial reporting, analysis, controlling and forecasting
Coordinate and drive the monthly financial reporting process, in close collaboration with the rest of the team
Preparation of consolidated financial accounts and management reporting, including P&L, Balance and Cash-Flow
Implement and maintain financial accounting and controlling policies and systems
Drive our intercompany process, including transfer pricing policies
Contribute to further develop the finance function, with emphasis on quality, efficiency and automation
Preparation of annual statutory financial statements for all legal entities of the group
Desired qualifications:
Master’s degree in finance management, accounting and auditing, or another relevant field
Minimum of 4 years’ work experience from similar position, group accounting function, or a larger international audit firm
Excellent writing and communication skills in English
Excellent analytical and Excel skills. Power-BI proficiency is considered positive.
IFRS proficiency is considered positive
Exposure to private equity is an advantage
